Courtesy Pay
Stop worrying about inadvertently overdrawing your checking account. With Courtesy Pay, we will consider paying check, ACH, ATM and Debit Card transactions if an overdraft occurs on your account (up to the overdraft limit of $600). If you utilize our Courtesy Pay, we will notify you that an overdraft has occurred, you will be charged a $35 fee, and you will have 30 days to bring your account to a positive balance.

You can have part or all of your paychecks automatically deposited to your checking account. Ask your employer if you can take advantage of these convenient services.

Money Orders
Money Orders are available at our branches for $2.50 each.
Money orders are a secure and reliable way to make payments, especially when you need to ensure funds are guaranteed and transactions are traceable.
They are ideal for situations where you don’t want to use cash or personal checks, such as paying bills, sending money through the mail, or making a down payment on a major purchase. Getting your money orders at Friends and Family Credit Union offers added benefits, including competitive fees, personalized service, and the convenience of handling your transactions in a trusted, local institution.
Cashier’s Checks
Members can receive three free cashier’s checks a month. Additional cashier’s checks are $5.00 each.
Members can use a cashier’s check instead of a personal check to guarantee that funds are available. A cashier’s check is secured because the amount of the check must first be deposited by the individual into the credit union’s own account. The person or entity to whom the check is made is guaranteed to receive the money when cashing the check.
Cashier’s checks differ from certified checks in that the funds owing on a cashier’s check are taken from the issuer’s account, while the funds owing on a certified check are taken from the remitter’s account. Purchase a cashier’s check at any branch.
