Update on Limited Lobby Access - February 4, 2021

Due to limited staffing issues, we may, as needed, find it necessary to close our lobbies for brief periods of time. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Our Drive-Thru, Online Banking, and Phone Options remain available for you.


At Friends and Family Credit Union, our top priority is always the safety and security of our members and employees. You can be confident that we are disinfecting all teller stations and high traffic “touch” areas. In addition, all Teller windows have protective plexiglass shields.

You must wear a protective mask when entering our lobbies at all Friends and Family Credit Union locations.

Our employees also will be wearing masks. We may ask you to provide a photo ID.

Per Governor DeWine’s orders for businesses re-opening, please read our lobby requirements:

  • There will be a limited number of members permitted in our lobby.
  • Social distancing will apply. We ask that you comply and adhere to the markings that are on the lobby floor proper distancing.
  • Restrooms will not be available during this re-opening phase.
  • The Coin Counter machine will not be available.
  • Finally, we ask that if you are not feeling well please do not enter our lobby until you are in good health.

At Friends and Family Credit Union, our top priority is always the safety and security of our members and employees. We’re closely monitoring COVID-19 coronavirus and following guidance from health experts and federal agencies (including the Center for Disease Control), and want to assure you that we have plans in place allowing us to provide uninterrupted access to your funds.

Here’s what you can do to help:

  • If you are sick, please do not come to the credit union. We have other ways to obtain financial services.

  • When you do visit one of our branches, practice good personal hygiene and cover coughs and sneezes, use hand sanitizer, and as much as possible, practice social distancing. Our lobbies are now closed and our Drive-Thru lanes remain open.

We’ve enhanced our cleaning services and are providing hand sanitizer at each of our branch locations.

We want to be sure you know about some options available to you if you decide to not visit one of our offices.

In accordance with the Center for Disease Control (CDC), who has recommended limits on personal contact, we want you to be aware of the preferred options below:

Using the drive-thru rather than coming into the lobby means a significant reduction in the number of people you’ll come in contact with, but you’ll still have the personal interaction with our staff.

Phone Services
Our staff is available to serve you over the phone during our normal business hours at 330-832-1371. You can also use our ART Telephone Banking at 330-832-4384.

Online & Mobile Banking
With online banking, you can securely access your accounts and perform many functions from any computer or smartphone. Our secure FamilyMobileCU mobile app allows for similar access from your smartphone.

Remote Deposit Capture
If you typically have checks which need deposited and don’t feel comfortable visiting our branches, you can use Remote Deposit Capture on our free mobile app and deposit checks with your smartphone’s camera.

Utilize our Night Deposit Box
You can drop your deposit or loan payment off in our Night Deposit Box and it will be processed the next business day.

ATM Access
You have access to surcharge-free ATMs at our branches and at thousands of surcharge-free ATMs in the Alliance One and MoneyPass Networks.
